Clicking on the current active workspace in the Spread automatically closes the Spread

Steps to reproduce

1. Switch to windowed mode
2. Open an app
3. Open Spread and add another workspace
4. Click on the new workspace
5. Click on the workspace with an open app

Expected Result

The list of open apps is displayed in the Spread and it doesn't close

Actual Result

The Spread closes automatically after clicking

Additional Information

For some reason, I can't replicate this reliably in Ubuntu Touch but it happens basically always in Ubuntu desktop. Still not sure how to trigger for sure in UT. Related to #154 , the binding loop error shows up whenever this issue is triggered.
