Extend audible alarm

The existing audible alarm for reminders is too short and easily missed in a noisy environment. I would like to see it repeated until cancelled by me, possibly by tapping the screen or pressing the power button. A maximum time limit of perhaps 3 minutes would conserve battery power.

Oh please don't make it autorepeat! In lots of cases I would not like to get an endless sound until I find time to mute it. The current sound is too long for my taste in some occasions.

I do agree, that it nevertheless might be missed in some cases.

Having a customizable sound the user can pick (see #19) would be a great option and that would solve this issue too.

A fair comment, but I am not asking necessarily for a continuous sound. A repeat every 20 seconds for example would be adequate. I agree that a user selectable sound would also be an advantage as one could choose something as noisy or irritating, or not, as desired, but that alone would not solve the problem of a single brief sound being drowned out by a passing lorry.

Perhaps a way to implement the idea would be to link the Notes sound output to the alarm function of the Clocks application. That would allow the duration and repeat interval to be set by the user.
