The Linux Kernel Coding Style doc says: "Coding style is very personal".
The obvious corollary is that an attack on someone’s coding style is a personal attack. Just don’t.
This project's coding style is a Whitesmith descendant.
Whitesmith style has been around for quite some time (as have I). I can give you an explanation for just about everything you hate about this style, but I won’t claim that my explanation makes me right (or wrong). It’s just what works best for me. I find this coding style exceedingly easy to read (and write). It is also fairly easy to get used to, I promise.
