Upstream kernel modules to mainline Linux

Having the Clevo/Tuxedo-specific kernel modules in mainline Linux would grant maximum freedom to Tuxedo users since any Linux distribution would be able to fully support the Tuxedo hardware out-of-the-box. Competitors like Purism or System76 (mostly) offer mainline Linux support as this is the most user-friendly and sustainable path.

Furthermore, mainlining would allow users to run immutable Linux distros like Bluefin, i.e.

getting the modules included in mainline would enable Fedora [Silverblue] to ship them with the kernel, circumventing the need to build locally.

#137 (closed) needs to be fixed first for this to be possible.
