USB networking issues on TUXEDO Pulse 14 Gen3
Hi TUXEDO kernel developers,
I use USB Ethernet adapters like "0b95:1790 ASIX Electronics Corp. AX88179 Gigabit Ethernet" or "0bda:8153 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" with TUXEDO Pulse 14 Gen3 and have after some minutes of work after start connection issues. In this case, the kernel log will show "ax88179_178a 5-1.1:1.0 eth0: NETDEV WATCHDOG: CPU: 14: transmit queue 0 timed out 7056 ms".
I do not suspect AX88179 or RTL8153 adapter, because they work with different system (Dell XPS 13 developer edition). As work around, I disable runtime PM on the USB xHCI controllers which make it work fine until the first s2ram cycle.
So far, I dived in to your kernel repository and didn't noticed any USB xHCI related patches. So, this bug is probably not fixed. Currently I use Ubuntu 24.04 beta with 6.8.0-11-generic.
