Strings can be represented with the familiar `"double quote syntax"`, or delimited with `'{...}`, which balances curly braces and respects `\{` and `\}`. But since many string literals are much simpler, you can also use `'` as a one-sided delimiter that scans to whitespace or one of the delimiters `]`, `)`, or `>`. Here are some examples:
