BME688 8bit register
First of all - awesome project! Thanks for working on this crate. I was about to start working on it when I saw that you've recently released it and was amazed!
I tried hooking up the BME688 sensor (breakout board from Pimoroni) and accordingly to the datasheet https://www.bosch-sensortec.com/media/boschsensortec/downloads/datasheets/bst-bme688-ds000.pdf it can have registers which are 8 bits.
Currently the i2cdriver implementation returns an error that states that the address is invalid.
I know that 8 bit addresses are usually invalid but is there a way to support them with i2cdriver?
PS: I'm one of the co-founders and community manager of the AeroRust community (https://github.com/AeroRust/, https://aerorust.org). We are currently planning for massive content campaign with projects, crates (aerospace and drivers-related) and our embedded workshop. I would really like to include the i2cdriver
crate under the organisation and develop tooling around the i2cdriver for monitoring, testing and development of I2C devices.
Would you consider joining the organisation and putting the crate under it?
