Commit log shows incorrect timestamps
By gordon.mcke... on June 06, 2009 10:09 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Create an empty git repository
- Create a file and add it.
- Commit changes to master.
- View the commit log; timestamp is 2 hours in the future.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Timestamp should reflect the local time of the commit. Actually shows a
time 2 hours in the future.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 0.6.2.0 32-bit. MSysGit Git-1.6.3-preview20090507-2. Windows XP
Professional SP3, English UK locale, GMT timezone (+1 for Daylight
savings).
Please provide any additional information below.
Viewing the commit log from the command-line ("git log") shows the correct
commit time.
Toggling the "Use system locale for date/time" option does not have any
effect.
