equivalent of `git fetch some-remote some-branch`
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have two local clones of a remote repository that I use for work on two branches because switching our build artifacts is not so easy.
- I added each local repository as a remote to the other local repository using TortoiseGit so I could easily move changes from between them.
- When I open the TortoiseGit Fetch dialog and select the (local) remote repo, the branch field and [...] button are disabled.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Ideally to be able to pick from available branches on the remote or at least be able to type in the branch I need.
I was able to pick a branch when I tried entering the path of the (local) remote repository instead of using the name drop-down but still didn't see the branch in a Show Log with All Branches after the fetch finished.
The branch does show in in Show Log with All Branches after running the command line fetch.
What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 184.108.40.206 with Git 2.16.2.windows.1 on Windows 10 v1803 build 17134.407
