Compare with Working Copy error on renamed files

By Jake.St... on December 09, 2011 18:25 (imported from Google Code)

  1. Use "Compare with working copy" against a revision that has renamed files (Action will show as 'rename' in the Changed Files dialog).

  2. Double click one of the renamed files.

  3. TortoiseDiff appears and shows an error that the left file could not be found.

It seems that tgit is trying to generate a temp file using the old filename (left side), but is telling tortoisegit about the new filename. I'm not sure if the tempfile generation itself is succeeding or not (it doesn't appear to, if the lack of any files in the temp diff folder is an indication)

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
