Git clone from SVN - Depth field is useless

By fr0st.bru... on December 07, 2011 15:48 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch clone tool

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The field Depth is useless when cloning from SVN repo and thus only confuses a user (btw, other neighbour fields possibly could be useless in this scenario too).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.5.0 on WinXP SP2

Please provide any additional information below.
I guess the option should be disabled when "Clone from SVN" checkbox is checked. In addition, tooltips for corresponding fields should be added to not force a user to guess their meaning.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
