Wrong "+" icons on up-to-date files, wrong "diff" results

Win7 32-bit, using TortoiseGit 1.7.2.0 (32-bit)
(also reproduces on WinXP 32-bit)

The existing repository that was properly displayed as "green up-to-date" icons in TG 1.6.5.0, now displays "blue +" icons on most (on all for WinXP) files. Using a context menu's "Diff" item erroneously displays all the file contents as "new" (while expected to display "no changes").

Uninstalled TG 1.7.2.0 and returned to 1.6.5.0. The icons and diff output are back to normal.
