Switch/Checkout Dialog, "Switch To Version" is confusing

By hauke.hei... on May 17, 2011 17:14 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open TortoiseGit -> Switch/Checkout...
  2. Check the top group box (Switch to)
  3. Ask yourself what "Version" means. ;)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I, and some colleagues were confused by the name "Version" since we were thinking about product or software version.

In order to overcome this confusion, it would be great, if the "Version" label could be renamed to either
- Revision
- Commit
- SHA

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.6.5.0
git version 1.7.4.msysgit.0
