Git Command Progress window should close with Escape

By robert.pol... on April 21, 2011 10:49 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Do e.g. a fetch and wait until the Progress window shows "Success"
  2. Press Escape to close the window like other TortoiseGit windows.

What is the expected output?
The Progress window should close.

What do you see instead?
I hear an error bing sound and the Progress window stays open.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.6.5.0 on Windows XP

This issue is somehow similar to issue #499 (closed) "Git Command Progress window does not close from X-closebutton".
