"Check for Updates" in about box doesn't work

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
Rightclick -> tortoisegit -> about
2.
Click "Check for updates"

>What is the expected output?
Expected showing up a new version detected message

>What do you see instead?
Told me i had the latest version which is false

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.6.3.0
git version 1.7.3.1.msysgit.0

Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
