TortoiseGit Blame not working from working dir

By pierd... on March 22, 2011 12:38 (imported from Google Code)

Problem found at Commit Hash:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Right-Click and Select "TortoiseGit" -> "Blame"
2.All revisions that appear are 000000

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The revision should be correct at this point.

Workaround:

  • Right-Click and Select "TortoiseGit" -> "Show Log"
  • Select the last commit with this file
  • Right-Click on the file at the bottom and select "Blame"

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
