cannot compare added files

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Open a log
2. Select an added file
3. Click on it - the diff window shows up only to give an exception

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To see the content of the file on one side and an empty file/screen on the other. The idea is to be able to see the content of all files, even new ones.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.0.3 Win 7 x64
