Applying a patch does not honour CRLF in files

By @mrtux on January 16, 2011 12:09 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. I applied 5647a987 as a patch to test the new git-am method. And now there are wrong eols.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: CRLF, I see: LF

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.6.3, WinXPSP3

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
