Check for modifications "Check repository" not working

By kevinb... on December 17, 2010 16:32 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Have a remote with a head further than the local
  2. Choose "Check for modifications"
  3. Click "Check repository"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is a list of files that have been modified on remote. I see nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.5.8.0
git version 1.7.3.1.msysgit.0
Windows 7 64bit

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
