Unmodified files appear in the Modified File list while committing

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Simply work on a Visual C++ project in Visual Studio and see

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Unmodified files should not appear in the Modified Files list

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Git-1.7.3.1-preview20101002
Windows 7 64bit

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
