Wrong icon overlay for newly commited file

By mwisni... on November 03, 2010 17:32 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create folder d:\repo1
  2. Initialize Git repository inside
  3. Create empty file "empty.txt"
  4. Commit it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting green OK overlay, instead I have "+" meaning file is added but not commited. This is 100% reproducible.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.5.8.0
Windows 7 x64
