"bad revision" in log of "Submodule Add"

By robert.pol... on September 21, 2010 07:50 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Add a submodule as folder "foo", commit it.
  2. In the log window select the commit
  3. In the log window double click the added folder "foo".

This gives the error:
fatal: bad revision 'd346bcf407c40d5e0b89073e4b8baa78f4e54ca7~1'

(The appended "~1" seems to be wrong.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit-1.5.3.0-32bit.msi on Windows XP

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
