Icon overlay not working for exclude files

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Put exclude pattern in .git/info/exclude
- have some unversioned files/directories in the working copy, which matches the exclude pattern
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is expected no icon overlay should be shown for these excluded files/directories.
However a question mark is seen now (which is the same as normal unversioned file)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortioseGit 1.5.2.0
git version 1.7.1.msysgit.0
Windows XP Professional SP2
Please provide any additional information below.
If I put the same pattern in /.gitignore, icon overlay is shown correctly.
