When applying patches, tortoise doesn't remember last file location

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Apply a patch from a directory outside Desktop, say Z:\project.web
2. Then try to apply another patch, have to re-find project.web
3. Having to do this because applying multiple patches is risky and breaks
   git...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Keep seeing Desktop

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 - 1.4.4.0, Git 1.7.0.2.msysgit.0
