Windows properties have direct link to blob in remote

Summary

When using TortoiseSVN for an SVN repo, the "SVN" tab in Windows properties for a file will show a link to that specific file in the repo, but for TortoiseGit, the "Git" tab in Windows properties only has a link to the remote repo, not to the specific file. It would be nice, for example, for it to have a link to the specific GitHub blob URL.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to a Git repo
  2. Right-click on a file that's under version control and open up Properties
  3. Go to the "Git" tab in the Properties window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would like the "Git" tab in the Properties window to show a direct link to the file in the remote repo (assuming the remote is on the internet, like GitHub), but it currently only shows the "Tracked Remote URL" for the entire repo and no link for the specific file.

What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?

TortoiseGit 2.15.0.0 (C:\Program Files\TortoiseGit\bin) git version 2.42.0.windows.1
