Merge commit too strange

By zo...@oe-it.ru on April 29, 2010 09:50 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open TGIT log at branch1
  2. Choose Commit of other branch (branch2)
  3. Call menu item "Merge commit to branch1"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect:
Merge like "SVN Merge" (merge one revision) as GIT cherry-pick
Or other name for this menu item like "merge tree up to commit"
I see:
Merge tree up to selected commit

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win7 x64
TortoiseGit 1.4.4.0
git version 1.7.0.2.msysgit.0

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
