Pageant Not Reloaded On Sync, Fetch, Pull

By kev.cla... on April 26, 2010 08:32 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Clone a repo that requires an ssh putty key (Load Putty key is checked
and a valid key (.ppk) is entered in the box). Pageant is loaded
successfully and a successful clone is performed.
  2. After the PC is restarted perform a sync, fetch or pull on this repo
(Autoload Putty Key is checked). Pageant is not reloaded, and a Putty
Fatal Error message box occurs: Disconnected: No Supported authentication
    methods available.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A successful connection to the remote repo. Output as 2 above.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Xp SP3

Please provide any additional information below.
In the working copy of the repo, if you go to the tortoiseGit Settings, and
look at the remote config settings, you can see there is no putty key in
the edit box.

If you then copy the location to the key into this box, a successful sync,
fetch etc will be maintained after a PC restart.

The initial clone that enters the putty key should copy this information
into the config settings for the local repo.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
