CRLF/LF conversion causes commit dialog to freeze

By xryl... on April 11, 2010 12:01 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. When this happens, I get a messagebox with a hash number in it, and when
I click "Ok", the commit window show "Please wait..." forever.
  2. I can't commit until I fire up a command prompt, and type
\path\to\tgit.exe commit -a "Message" (which works directly)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I don't want to have a message box I don't understand.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest TortoiseGIT

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
