Log - multiline search

By mauricioschef... on April 08, 2010 20:58 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Copy any multiline string into the clipboard
  2. Open "show log" dialog
  3. Paste on the search textbox

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Actual: dialog resets/refreshes. No search is done.
Expected: either the lines in the clipboard are pasted as a concatenation
(removing the newlines) or only the first line in the clipboard is pasted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoieGit 1.4.2.0 on Windows 2008 x64
