TGit always crash when commiting an edit after opening the "Onto" dialog

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Perform a rebase.
  2. Select a commit to do an edit or squash.
  3. When pausing on the commit to edit, click "Onto", and then click "Cancel" to close the prompted dialog.
  4. Press "Amend" (for edit) or "Commit" (for squash).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

TortoiseGit always crash after pressing "commit" in step 4, while it should work normally.

What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?

TortoiseGit 2.10.0.0, git version 2.24.1.windows.2, Windows 7 SP1.
