Revision graph filter does not work

It seems that the View => Filter feature in the revision graph does not work. I tried it with the repository https://github.com/StackExchange/dapper-dot-net.git, filtering from tag 1.25 to tag 1.27. The resulting graph does not appear to be filtered.

Also, it would be good to document how that filter is applied. Is the "from" a requirement for this commit to be an ancestor? And the "to" a requirement to be a descendant?

This is TortoiseGit 2.9.0.0.
