(GUI) Animation should stop when finished, not halt

Hello all,

I created a commit with TortoiseGit today, and the most disturbing thing happened. As the turtle was to get to the folder, the process finished before it could even leave the planet! And the folder stopped in the middle of the screen.

In all seriousness, it would perhaps be better if the animation during a process gets to finish. Right now, the animation halts immidiately if the process finishes, leaving the poor turtle floating mid-air.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create a commit
  2. Watch the animation of a turtle flying from the planet to a folder
  3. Gasp in horror as the turtle is left floating in the air

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The turtle should (always) get to fly all the way to the folder.

What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?

2.8.0 Windows 10
