Force is the default in the sync dialog

By chri... on March 18, 2010 08:37 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. TortoiseGit -> Sync...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect that "Force" is not checked by default because it can
destroy history when someone clicks on "Push" accidentally without doing a
pull beforehand. In contrast in the "Push" dialog, force is not the default
option. It should not be checked by default.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 1.3.6.0 / Windows Vista 32bit

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
