Faulty behaviour of "Commit" feature in "check for modifications"

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Call "Check for modifications"
  2. Select several files from the displayed lists.
  3. Invoke "Commit"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is the commit panel with exactly the same files marked that I have selected. The actual output is the commit panel with all files selected for committing.

What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?

Windows, Tortoise 2.5.0.0 git 2.13.0.windows.1
