commit template not supported

By adwo...@enticelabs.com on February 02, 2010 00:12 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. create a text file with a few lines, save as c:\template.txt
  2. git config --global commit.template /c/template.txt
  3. git commit
  4. use tortoisegit to commit

When you use the command line git (step 3), it loads the commit template in
your editor (default VIM). When you commit via tortoisegit (step 4), it
does not show the template in the message box.

Using TortoiseGit 1.2.1.0 and git version 1.6.5.1.1367.gcd48 on Win XP Pro SP3

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
