"Commit & Push" somtimes does not not show Push dialogue window
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- create a bare git repo
- clone it
- create a new text file in the cloned repo
- show log
- rightclick "Working dir changes"
- select "Commit..."
- type a commit message
- choose "Commit & Push"
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Sometimes choosing "Commit & Push" will bring up the Push dialogue window which allows you to customize the push (e.g. make it a force push). In this case the window will not show up and TortoiseGit just pushes with the default settings.
What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system?
TortoiseGit 2.3.8.0 (20170115-f2bae733)
git version 2.8.1.windows
Windows 10
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not sure in which cases the dialogue shows up and in which it doesn't. This might not even be a bug but intentional. I find it very irritating and annoying however. The most common case where this interrupts my workflow is when amending a pushed commit because it prevents me from choosing the force option.
