Load gitweb for 'Browse' button

By djsza... on January 19, 2010 03:50 (imported from Google Code)

When you used the 'Browse' button from TortoiseSVN in the clone window
e.g., we could browse the repository, and very much old SVN user require
this feature from TortoiseGIT too. It's known the 'Browse' button in
TortoiseGIT doesn't provide this facility, but I'd have an idea how to
handle it.

It would be a configuration option, local or global it doesn't mind, for
gitweb URL e.g., and when you click the 'Browse' button this gitweb url
would be loaded in the default browser, than you can change of course.

You can't browse the source repository with the present knowledge of
TortoiseGIT at this momment, which is really annoying for some windows
user, that's reasonable, because some old SVN user used it frequently, so
it's a really good feature in TortoiseSVN.

Would you be so kind to implement my idea in TortoiseGIT, if you like it,
please ?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
