Drag and drop on commit dialog to include files in the list for committing

By adam.k... on February 27, 2015 06:53 (imported from Google Code)

Would be great if the commit dialog accepted files dragged onto it to include in the commit.

I often commit a folder worth of changes and an extra file that comes from way back up the folder tree, but don't want to have to do a commit on the WHOLE repository and then uncheck most of the files. Painful and slow on a large repo.

/relevantOne/newStuff

So I want to commit newStuff and confFile together but nothing from the other folders. TSVN lets me open the commit dialog on newStuff and drag and drop confFile to include it in the list in the dialog (or the reverse); TGIT doesn't.

Cheers,

Adam
