Add fails in submodule after upgrade from 1.8.12 to 1.8.13

By nikolai.ta... on February 20, 2015 15:17 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Upgrade from 1.8.12 to 1.8.13
  2. Try to add a new file to any of my git repositories.
  3. Adding fails with libgit2 error : Invalid data in index - invalid entry.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Windows 7 x64, msysgit 1.9.5

Please provide any additional information below.
After downgrading to 1.8.12 adding started working again.
