/command:log /outfile not written

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Starting the command in a repository: TortoiseGitProc.exe /command:log /outfile:select.txt
  2. Select and press OK.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The file select.txt is created, but stays always empty

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?

TortoiseGit 1.8.12.0
git version 1.9.4.msysgit.1
Win7, 64bit
