Rebase option in config not working anymore since updating from 1.8.11.0 to 1.8.12.0

By mmh... on December 11, 2014 10:39 (imported from Google Code)

I always had the following option stored in a local repository's ../.git/config file:

[pull]
rebase = true

Since I updated from 1.8.11.0 to 1.8.12.0 yesterday this is not taken into account anymore and the pull from the "sync" menu is starting with --no-rebase option.

I'm on Windows 7 using:
TortoiseGit 1.8.12.0
git version 1.9.4.msysgit.2

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
