git.exe get stuck on Win XP

By biggreen... on November 27, 2014 20:09 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. try to initiate the rebase process
  2. ???
  3. No rebase window.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the rebase GUI to start. All i see is a stuck git process. If i kill this process i see a stash/cancel dialog as if i had some uncommitted changes. (I don't have any).

I'm using Windows XP with the latest tgit release (1.8.12.0) autoupdated. I had to revert back to 1.8.11.0 which still works perfectly.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
