Clicking in blank space in Commit dialog causes all unversioned files to become selected
By mik... on August 14, 2014 14:44 (imported from Google Code)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open a commit dialog with at least 1 unversioned file and at least 1 versioned file with a change
- Double click in the space between the last versioned file, and the "Not Versioned Files" header.
- Note that all unversioned files have been selected
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Double clicking near a versioned file should not cause unversioned files to become selected.
What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Git version 1.7.10.msysgit.1

This is especially troublesome when double clicking on versioned files to open diffs. I frequently double click each file to examine the diff and accidentally missing the file causes unversioned files to become accidentally added - which can result in unwanted files becoming committed - a real pain!
