Autocomplete for Remote URL box in Sync screen doesn't work

By mik... on August 14, 2014 14:26 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open "Git Sync"
  2. Examine contents of "Remote URL" dropdown, ensure you have at least two remote repositories set up
  3. Type the first letter of one of the dropdown items
  4. Note that the autocomplete appears to do something random and unrelated to the dropdown contents. (Typing "C" autocompletes to C:\Git as a remote URL, and "O" autocompletes to "outlook:calendar"...)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to see the remote URL from the dropdown beginning with the first letter I type.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?

1.8.8
Win7
git version 1.7.10.msysgit.1
