Issue created Aug 02, 2015 by Sven Strickroth@mrtuxOwner

libgit2 still added the file with mixing EOL, while autocrlf and safecrlf are true

By @YueLinHo on March 24, 2014 05:18 (imported from Google Code)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create a file "Test.txt" with mixing EOL
  2. Right click on "Test.txt" and TortoiseGit -> Add
  3. Popup Add dialog and click OK button

What is the expected output?

Showing "fatal: LF would be replaced by CRLF in Test.txt"

What do you see instead?

Popup "Add Finished!" dialog and Success message.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?

TortoiseGit 1.8.7.4
msysGit 1.9.0
Win 7 Pro 64

Please provide any additional information below.

I tried the Git Bash "git add Test.txt" and it shows
"fatal: LF would be replaced by CRLF in Test.txt"
