Disable option for Drag & Drop Handler

By mihai.po... on February 16, 2014 12:19 (imported from Google Code)

On TortoiseGit 1.8.7.0 (Win 7 x64)

The Drag&Drop Context menu provided by Drag&Drop Handler is very obtrusive and should at least have an option for being disabled.

Numerous times I found it breaking my workflow, when copying files, by accidentally clicking on "Git copy and add to this WC", instead of the default Copy option provided by win shell.

This is annoying when it comes to temporarily copying files (most times), that I copy to a repo for testing or altering purposes, but that I do not plan to add to the repository.

By always having to either pay extra attention to NOT clicking on this extension, or to manually remove the added files from the index before commiting, this is extremely obtrusive.

Kindly add an option to disable this, just as all other extensions to the context menu are configurable in Settings.

Type: Drag & Drop Handler
Extension: TortoiseGit shell extension client
