TGitCache blocks windows explorer from deleting folders/files

It's been years that I was annoyed by explorer's hanging whenever I need to delete folders. Sometimes folder has a few internal folders without any files and when I [shift]+delete entire folder it gets stuck at "calculating size" without doing anything at all. Now I'm absolutely sure that it's because of TortoiseGIT. Whenever I get this problem I kill TGitCache.exe process and the delete dialog right away does its job.

as a note, the folder that I try to delete was regular folder that never had any relationship to any git or svn.
