TortoiseGitBlame always takes whitespace into account

There seems to be no way for TGitBlame to add the '-w' param to git blame, and thus ignore whitespace when looking through old commits.
Would it be possible to add a toggle to the settings page, similar to the 'follow' checkbox..? That would be great. :)
PS: sorry, I would mark this as an 'enhancement' suggestion, but I can't change labels.
To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
