TortoiseGitMerge: Missing color config when an added line is changed

By shie...@kkvesper.jp on October 30, 2013 01:40 (imported from Google Code)

If you go to TortoiseGitMerge -> Settings -> Colors, you can configure the highlighting colors. However, there is one color used which is missing, which makes it difficult to use on inverse (dark bg, white text) color schemes.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create a new text file "foo.txt", add some lines, and add it to git
  2. Open "foo.txt" in TortoiseGitMerge. All lines should appear with the highlight color of "Line differences -> added" (bright yellow by default)
  3. Edit a line in the right hand pane of TortoiseGitMerge. The background color changes to a light blue color. This color is NOT configurable in the Settings Colors.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect this light blue color to be configurable in TortoiseGitMerge -> Settings -> Colors -> Line differences

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?

Most recent 1.8.6.0
