Revision graph crashes when trying to switch/checkout via context menu

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open revision graph.
  2. Right-click a node.
  3. Select Switch/Checkout to "<Branch>".
  4. Revision graph crashes after clicking close on switch/checkout screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No crash expected. Crashes everytime after selected branch was switched to.

What version of TortoiseGit and msysgit are you using? On
what operating system?
Win7 (64bit) TortoiseGit 1.8.6 msysgit 1.8.6

Please provide any additional information below.
The bug appeared after updating to 1.8.6
